Sarah’s passion for compassionate and competent midwifery care began at a young age while observing her own mother receive care from a local midwife. Her desire to complete midwifery training was impacted greatly as she became aware of the global need for more midwives to prevent maternal and newborn deaths that happen every day. She hopes to one day work overseas in areas where women have less access to quality maternity care.
Sarah graduated from the Mercy in Action College of Midwifery in 2018, and went on to receive her national certification in midwifery through NARM that fall. She became licensed to practice in the state of Idaho in 2019.
She lives in Boise with her wonderful, supportive husband Jacob, and their beautiful daughter Saoirse.
