Kellie is a graduate of Frontier Nursing University, and has provided women’s health care as a Certified Nurse Midwife since September of 2012.  Her career as a nurse-midwife includes a 9 month Ruth Brexendorf Stifel Fellowship at The Midwife Center for Birth and Women's Health in Pittsburgh, PA; a year as an independent homebirth midwife in Council Bluffs, IA, and 4 years as Clinical Director of Midwifery in a free-standing birth center.

Her passion for providing access to appropriate mental health care during the perinatal year led her back to Frontier Nursing University for certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  With additional certification from Postpartum Support International, Kellie is now providing specialized mental health care for women struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mood disorders throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
