Chris Radsma
CPM, LM

Christine completed the NARM PEP pathway to midwifery certification and received her license and certification in June 2020. She has been married to her husband, Marc, for 24 years and they have 5 children ages 15-22.

She discovered midwifery when she was pregnant with her 4th child. The difference between the quality and level of care with midwives vs OBs was huge! She learned so much during her prenatal and postpartum care with her midwives and, thus began her journey towards becoming a midwife. She had always felt called to a career in healthcare but did not have a clear goal. Midwifery encompasses all of what quality healthcare should be: individualized, evidence-based, client-centric, empowering care where true informed consent and refusal is provided. Midwifery is where her passion and calling are!

Chris is currently completing prerequisites to enter the RN program at CWI while practicing at Boise River Birth Center. Following completion of her RN degree, she plans to go on to achieve her degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
